I am the person working on Mitrochron. I am currently using monkeydude's figure example, but it is dropping the fps because of all the variables.
So...I need a low poly (N64 ish) human model. Emphasis on low-poly. I don't want some curved and crappy model that took over a year to make slowing the game down to a 1 fps. I want it to be in non-model format (although you don't have to post it that way if you dont know how) although it HAS to be in Game Maker format. And I dont want any external files included with the gm6, that would be DLL's and models. I want the models to be in the scripts. Even if it doesn't make sense to you, I can convert it to just standard, non-modeled polygons. Because in the game I want them to not be models to save the fps (and make animating much easier.)
I need it in different stages so I can animate it. So I need the model to be in standing form, and the same character but a different script to be in crouching form, and a script in-between crouching and standing. Also I need the character in running mode and 3 scripts for in-between standing and running. I do not need a moving crouch script, and I don't feel like burdening myself with more than 1 death animation, yet.
And of course since this is a high quality game, it needs to be compatible with culling and lighting. Also it needs to be textured. tutorial: forums.gamemaker.nl/index.php?showtopic=249168
Just once your completed, send me the gm6 with the scripts and texture/s in it. You don't have to make the actual character object with the animation variables. In fact I don't want you to. Just label the scripts well and I will take it from there. You don't even have to make a camera object.
Please follow all of my instructions carefully. I am not a genius. If your model is fundamentally glitchy, has improper lighting, messed up culling or is not textured correctly, chances are I will not use it. And if the gm6 file is larger than .2 mbs I probably won't use it either.
